Our interests are various and many. The one common interest all of us share is that of reading and so we have a huge collection of books on various subjects. Books that are not kept in showcases but which ooze out of every nook and cranny of the house!

Besides reading I also love 'ham' radio and have been operating for the last 30 years with the callsign VU2UDD. I also dabble in photography and have a good many slides from my sailing days. Sheelu loves to cook, read, teach and nag. Siddhant loves cars and Kaushu likes to help Mum around the house and shop.

Except for meal-times when the kids watch the noisy meaningless music channels we hardly watch TV. Movies are a subject for joking but we do go to Marathi theatre a few times annually. Our idea of fun is to drive down to my brother-in-law's farm and spend the day there.
